The Interurban Center For The Arts
is grateful to all our community partners who support the children in our local elementary schools. Their support ensures that these children have access to arts education.
If you would like to show your support of arts education in our local elementary schools we would encourage you to donate to the ICA today!
All proceeds will benefit the Interurban Center For The Arts. The ICA, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing local elementary school age children with arts education through the dedication and help of our volunteer art docents.
Through the ICA, participating schools receive:
Educational Material
Each program receives eight large prints of famous works of art to use during the school year. Every large print comes with accompanying lesson notes and a corresponding project binder with classroom-tested art project ideas.
Training
The ICA provides free or low-cost workshops and trainings to all art docents to support program continuity and quality.
Support
ICA staff offers educational training, workshops, and one-on-one guidance to the in-school coordinator of the art docent program.
